I don't speak from any actual knowledge about code or historical accuracy so take it with a grain of salt.
Just asking out loud here... took 5 bursts from a typhoon's 20mm to bring one down.
I am not the greatest marxman so I cant say I hit anything vital but I was expecting something like a V1 to come down with very few hits on it, especially 20mm. It was my expectation that the V-1s should have the same fragility as a P-38 tail section... gust of wind knocks it off...
seriously though, I would think the energy absorbed by the V1 when being struck with 20mm cannon shells would cause major structural damage rather than just point of impact damage. From the looks of pictures it doesn't seem that there is anything on the V-1 other than vital components.
Just food for thought
Thanks!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V-1_flying_bomb#/media/File:V-1_cutaway.jpgWell... unfortunately due to WB code..the V1 is considered an "AI". That is why it does a little evasion attempt...but it's been dumbed down enough you can hit them.
The buzz bomb is also made of sheet steel instead of aluminum so it is a little more durable.
Our original plan was to make it all pilot hit boxes so it would explode like in the main. However it's an AI and AI don't explode....Grrr...
So it is what it is until we can get some spindz time to rework the code.
