Last night a Knight went rouge and shot down 3 Lafs and I want to apologize for hit actions. I made it quiet clear that NO 262 was to engage the enemy. Still he ignored my orders and did so anyway. There is no excuse for this action and take full responsibility for this unauthorized action. I also understand he was rude to Jabo and this too is not exceptable behavior. Beaver had a great frame and this puts a black mark on it and he deserves better. Of course the pilot in question will take the penalty, but I think there is a bigger issue here that must be delt with and I will. Once again, my apologies to to community for his actions. |

Hawk - thanks! I'm pretty sure that he is the same 262 pilot that conveniently discoed as we diving in on his 6 during an earlier sortie. I didn't see any warping - just poof he is gone. If that is true, that is 2x in one frame that he screwed me. BTW - I was flying a P47, not an Laf. |
