Great stuff Muzz. especially that last vid. That was pretty much a duplicate of my last engagement. Love that Track IR. <S>s Yob and MadCat. My stall horn was constant at the end there, almost dumped it in the drink a couple times. Tried to drop the nose at end MC but had nothing left as far as speed. Intention was not to collide.

Awesome footage guys! I always forget to turn on the cam. I got target fixated there and pulled up too late collecting a large chunk of airplane in the process (brain malfunction ). I got the kill when the pilot jumped to another buff I assume. Moved to AE/8th Dar for the 2nd sortie.
AE/8th did Ok in engaging the fighter sweep and then the buffs in the 1st sortie. We knocked down 11 EA with 4 of those (buffs) going down to the blazing guns of Besea-. Think we only lost 3 (2 to collisions) in sortie 1. Sortie 2 was a little slower paced adding 3 more kills for the night.
An exciting time indeed. These films really give people a good feel for what the action is like for us due in no small part to the radio chatter with the film.
Nice Vids everyone, good to see more posting. Btw Muzz, that wasn't me that collided with you. I was the guy that fueled you, and I was almost back to base when I was awarded the kill on you.
I ended up crashing into the sea as a glider in a later sortie.

Apologies to Jman. I could not get solution on those guys...when I close in, the slide show begins and then the microwarps. It is compounded by the overstress animations and of course my piss-poor gunnery.
Our remaining Lf6 schwarm merged with the egressing bombers and made our way north. I then lost visual on Gundoc and rev'ed south to pick him up. Thats when I saw you on the deck...with Gundoc clear (ish), I came down to help. After Byheck went down, I was jumpped by three that I thought were the remaining BlueNoses...turned out to be Supermarines. They oiled, leaked and took my right ron. I managed the Messerschmitt back to shore deadstick.
