Something needs to be done so credit is credited for the kills....with the ability to hop between wingman..you have to kill a guy 4 times to kill him. Its like a B level version of Walking Dead. We either need an * on AI's so we know which one to start with....or we just need a way to say a kill is a kill.

hhmmnnn. Mayhap the answer might be found within the new score system Spindz has put together...it does log every action. Might bear a closer look at it.

I felt sure this would be the next push from fighter jocks. Gezz--like most of the buff drivers have had enough as can be clearly seen by the low head count.
Like me think, we should just call the Sunday event a S3 Fighter Furball were buff drones are placed in so many grids--of course the actually grid numbers of the drones will be provided to ensure everyone can get kills and boost their bragging rights.

Can you not switch between your aircraft? You are getting 4 lives.....if I shoot your auto down and then you....you are still dead. If the game can't award credit..(can you imagine them saying...sorry we can't score your bombs....that shit pull be fixed ASAP), work arounds exist.

Figured this would strike a nerve....wasn't wrong....maybe bitch a little more and we can get buff tuff or guns turned down for ya.... Wouldn't want to hurt a bomber pukes feelings....

Now you're being silly. No one is for you fighter dudes not getting credit for AI kills, you should. What you are asking for is an easier way to determine which is a live pilot or an AI plane.

No it's not the same killing me first than having me switch. I will have a big target on my back when I do.

Warbirds has been in the clutches of someone totally bomber and GV centric for a very long time now. All it has done is create a sense of entitlement that is clearly on display in this thread.

Warbirds needs desperately to get away from this us versus them mentality.

We are all players with the same choices when we log in. There are no bomber guys. There are no fighter guys. We are all players.

This division has been purposely created by the guy in charge because it insures this sort of division and paralysis.

The population of the Main Arena drives EVERYTHING in Warbirds. Yes there are players who only fly S3 but there is no path to growth among that population. The path to S3 growth is from a growing and vibrant Main Arena.

This particular problem is a great example of the results of a stagnant Main Arena. This is an issue that needs resolution and therefore attention but it cannot get any attention because the purposeful division of Warbirds into imaginary groups who then get wrapped up in slinging feces through the bars of their imaginary cages instead of working together to find a solution.

The game desperately needs a vibrant Main attractive to new players so it can grow. It needs the attention of people interested only in the long term future, not protecting a particular, game play paradigm attractive only to a very small market. That is the only path to S3 growth.

Its time to stop flinging feces, identify the actual problem and work to have the cancer excised.

I standby this statement. All kills should be counted regardless if it is a live pilot or an AI. Do you see anything in my post that states difference? No!

It wasn't Golfy or myself that took the conversation down the drain it was someone else. This isn't a MA versus S3 issue. This is what gives pilots credit for the plane they shoot down only.

Like I said, we don't control what happens in the S3 so make the changes you think are necessary and let what ever happens, happens.

I am addressing a much larger issue. The future of the S3 is totally dependent on the future of the Main Arena because that determines the future of the game.

The S3 population declines because the Main Arena is a stagnant population aimed at pleasing itself to the exclusion of all new players and all progress.

Warbirds already must overcome its outdated pricing model. Having the Main Arena settings designed to kill the fight makes growth un-possible.

Arguing over S3 scoring of kills while the real problem lies at the core of the game is rather silly. With proper direction in the Main Arena, this S3 problem would be addressed and resolved in the Main Arena through the design of the game and would never arise in the S3.

Instead of making game play progress in the PRIMARY ARENA we are forced to create unused arenas and test things in S3.

Its Bass Ackwards because we don't demand that the Main Arena be on the cutting edge of game play development instead of remaining 6 years in the past.
