We lost 4 or 5 to collision/explosion, or maybe 20 mil ottos? I made a high 7 o'clock pass on a lead Betty with AIs in tow. As soon as the Betty exploded there were secondary explosions that rocked my fighter. Think Wilz and Chicdg lost planes making passes on bomber formations. Oskar |

Hawk's only intention when releasing torpedoes was to blow up the CV. Which he did. |

Fragged in the real world is what happens when you fly too close to a bomb that was dropped, and take hot metal as a result. I think that was the intent of the term in this case.... |
