The next several months will be incredibly busy for me. We are moving 40 minutes away to be closer to my wife's job. I will be busy moving to our new house and working on the old house so we can sell it. The kids will be finishing out the school year in their current schools, so lots of driving to do. With all this activity and their after school stuff, Sunday nights have become the only time we all see each other. I am missing Warbirds though, so as soon as this settles down I'll be back. I am hoping by the Spring. It is also likely I will be quitting my job (with it's crappy oncall stuff) some time next year to be a full time trophy husband/warbirder... In the mean time I continue to enjoy seeing you all in the numbers. To distract you of the pain of my absence, I now present you with a project I finished this summer (so I could move it easier). Only the true nerds here will appreciate it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJkHTZkv_m4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-trQOOOP08 |

Countt flew with 8thFG for his first ever S3. He did fine until a massive disco took him out of game and TS. Hope he returns. Thanks for the update Phenix. We were wondering where you were. Happy Thanksgiving! Crommm American Eagles |

I noticed the RC chopper. You get to fly it much? |

RC Chopper was dropped in my lap by a guy who found it put out to trash. It had everything but the controller. I started to refurbish it, but 2 things stopped me. First this chopper has no pitch control on the main rotors, so you had to adjust throttle to control up and down, which is very hard to do. Second, after a lot of work I got the engine running and it literally shook itself to pieces within a few seconds. It looks good hanging there. Not sure it will make the jump to the new garage. |
