When the S3 arena goes live are we going to have to do the .privarearenaS3 to get in?

The arena is live. It is just private right now.

While I cannot answer if Jabo will take it public for the frame I can help you out.

When you press PLAY ONLINE and get an arena list, if the S3 arena isn't on the list, it is still private and you will need to use the .privatearena <password> command to get in.

.privatearena <password> will only display the private arenas with the password you used

The password for S3 arena is S3

To show the PUBLIC arena list just type .privatearena<enter> in the chat buffer and the next time you press PLAY ONLINE you will see the PUBLIC Arena List

My goal is to help everyone understand the use of .privatearena

There was a time when the S3 arena was always private and use of the command was the common practice.

With the use of Combined Arms logins it may be desirable to revert to this old practice.

I hear and understand we must use the .privatearena s3 to log in--however, I see no need to have a drawn out process! Yes, I know it only 16 key strokes--my ? is --Why-even if it to keep it private all you would need to do is code it ".XYZ" or whatever. Like here we start a new season, and one, I think that has the most changes I ever seen for a new year--so why add more confusion. As much as we all wish everyone would take time to read the new rules and procedures--some will, some won't---never fails!
