To login to the S3 arena please do the following; On the splashscreen type into a radio bar .privatearena s3 Select go online You will see a fighter login(regular WBs interface) and a bomber login(drone M4 interface). Arena password is the same one we have been using for years. To get the back to the regular online arenas you will have to type .privatearena<enter> after logging offline and then go back online. You should get the NG terrain with the first events a\c available all with the new revised FMs. The new P38G is there as well as two P40Ns. Please pass this onto your squads if players wish to test these aircraft in there. I believe the AFMA has the same revised FMs so you can test there as well. Its important for the bombers pilots to familiarize themselves with the new login screen and selection of AI drones. The ability to switch from plane to plane gives bomber\strike pilots a lot more flexibility and effectiveness. Rules and a/c for first event should be out tomorrow at the latest. |

Just a reminder to buff dudes. You HAVE to choose the loadout for EACH drone. |

Please test take-offs from various fields with drones. It appears there may be an issue with the spawns being angled to the runways. They may get stuck on mountain sides if the tighter valley field strips. |

As the Rules have as yet to be seen, can fighter pilots anticipate that since buff pilots are able to "ride hop" among their AI wingies, that AI bombers and "lead" bombers are all worth the same amount of points? IF the buff pilot is able to "hop" while his primary ride is going down in flames, is it possible for the same pilot to "die" more than once? |

I take it this series is going to be a combined arms arena. |

Hawk wrote: I take it this series is going to be a combined arms arena. ONLY in regard to wingmen available for buff pilots. NO CRITTERS in the S3 Arena. (Critters are an idea that are yet to come to S3s) No "contested fields", flashing fields or arrows, AI fighters, none of that stuff. |

What Wolf said...the only CA portion used is the ability for bomber guys to transfer between their AI. Should be a win win.... Dobs |
