Meine Kammeraden,
I'm afraid it's time to hang up the chaps for a spell. It's been over 2 months since I've dared the unfriendly skies. Mein Messerschmitt sits in the hangar collecting virtual dust. The ACM rust is building faster than a Californian housing development. Finishing a college degree, attempting to trade my RL sergeant's stripes for RL lieutenant's bars, and sanity-saving outdoor adventures have taken priority. Real life has won the real war. I'll still lurk these boards, but it'll be a while before I log into an arena. The account is on hold and the joystick has been unplugged. It's a shame really, but a guy has to do what he has to do. There's been some very real moments in here over the past 5 years. I've come to consider many of you friends, and had the honor of meeting several in person. I'll miss the thrill of a dead-even fight, the challenge of mastering a FM, and the satisfaction of a new guy "getting it". Before I get back to work, I just wanted to tell everyone... good luck, we're all counting on you. <S>
