Thanks for the video Dobs.. Heck of a fight.. 352nd was really strung out low on ammo & fuel. Yobtee and I were RTB alone when you spotted us under your flight. Was a bit frightening being jumped by you guys. All we could do was try to dodge & run. I ruined my 202's engine running from looks like Dawger & Sas. (was not aware the new temp effects had been migrated to the S3, would have been nice to know). <S> Oskar |

It just burned out the WEP like it used to. |

I think it was tied to players coming into the S3 from the AFMA.... They had WEP overheat on... The S3 arena didnt have the overheat turned on..... However I dont think it had it turned off either.. So the AFMA setting "stuck"... I came directly to the S3 and didn't overheat... So for those that had it happen. .what do you think of it? |

Lucky for me, Dawger pulled off right as my engine started it's death rattle from the overheat. Oskar |

Oskar Confirmed it with SPINDZ... it was a carryover from the AFMA and because it wasn't turned "OFF" the AFMA setting stuck. Will be forced "OFF" now.... |

Are we sure the temp effects weren't actually turned on? It only effects new FM's right??? I would double check the S3 arena settings as I don't think settings will carry over from arena to arena, but who knows, maybe a bug there. |

It's not just new FMs as I killed the engine on a Hurri I in the MA a few nights ago. The carryover does make sense as I had just switched from AFMA. I didn't allow my engine to blow up after that to see if the settings stayed. Does make perfect sense why switching to offline keeps the previous arena settings as there are no settings in offline to turn on/off. Since I did okay with the new engine damage I think it is a good feature to have in the S3, however the players need time acclimating to it. |
