S3#92 – Tora Tora Tora; Pearl Harbor - Dec 1941

This is the one! The Day of Infamy that brough the United States into WW2. Players will launch a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor then follow up with a more contested frame simulating the 2nd and possible 3rd wave. After two frames the main fighter squads will switch and try and their hand at the other side. Slightly hypothetical with the presence of USN CVs in the area and the chance the USN could have entered the battle with enough warning.

Starts Mar 22nd in the S3 Arena at 8:30PM Eastern/5:30 PM Pacific

Similar to OH but with the IJN attacking in this one.

one question:

Why is there radar?

is it 15 miles to simulate visual ID? if so then I would think it should be the same as icon ranges.

Except for the score summary all the links have been fixed on the S3 page to reflect the T3 links.

When can we expect the score sheet?

Aircraft Table says:
Allied: P-40C, F4F-3

Should say?: P-40B, P-36C, F4F-3

Welcome to the State of Flux.

Please keep in mind that when this Series was designed that the P-36 did not exist in the WBs inventory. The Janitors run S3 Events, not iENT. iENT is the "host" of S3 Events.

Well this addition is a welcome surprise. A bit late in the day but will adjust the rules so that in frames 2 and 4 P36Cs will be enabled at Wheeler field. Though there was only about 39 of these a\c present on Oahu they did shoot down some Japanese a/c. I have little understanding of how this new fighter will play out but this will limit its effects good or bad on the series.
Again this does not effect Frames 1 or 3, the initial surprise attack on PH.
