Get your Hawaiian shirts on, pour some Sailor Jerry's and wrap your rising sun headbands tightly.

We are going to Oahu in a new 128 mile terrain.
Kudos to Mspiro for the historic detail and design.

Sides for the next event Tora Tora Tora starting Mar 22nd are here;

http://www.squadselectseries.com/events/T3/T3AC.html

Same setup as the previous event, main fighter squads switch sides after 2 frames.

Rules and passwords out tomorrow.

Please playtest the new terrain and report any issues. F2 is red with a 15,000ft airstart to help bomb things.

I see something new in the aircraft table:
RCAF 127 Wing(401/416/417) 8 2 S,F A6M2,Val,Kate

Is the RCAF now a strike squad? Will they be doing side swapping during the event?

Also a question for the fighter guys, how is the plane match-up? Which are the "better" planes?

The "other" plane is always the best plane in the match up ;)

Muskie,

RCAF volunteered for strike duty a couple of series ago to help offset the decline in buff/strike squads. Do not believe we will be every series just when needed or jabo decides.
We have done strike and buff missions before, in Heavy Hurricanes, Wellingtons and such so it is not something we are not entirely familiar with and it makes a nice change of pace. It was decided albeit not unanimously by both squads.

We are always willing and able to help out where needed.

I think thats great! Most of the fighter guys do great strikes with heavy fighters. More was wondering if you would be side switching or not.

Tried to do some testing, noticed the F4f series can't be trimmed for auto pilot. Feature or bug?

We are hoping for an FM update which will completely resolve this particular issue.

However, the update will also present multiple new challenges such as new FM's for some models, revisions/tweaks to others and a new, fantastic, more realistic fuel burn profile for the FM's that have the new style boost levels (Multi boost even if there is only one boost level)

As you may have noticed there will only be a few days between update and the first frame if this happens.

Exciting isn't it?
