Post subject: | BBD Frame 4 Summary |
http://www.squadselectseries.com New map up and score summary updated. Just waiting on S6 for the final totals on losses and pilot kills. Allies went right up the gut again with a slight variation to the SE and then NE into Doberitz regions(M84 area). B17s lead the way with a mixed group of B24s and B17s following. Excellent coordination by the Luftwaffe saw most of the escort shotdown or forced to rtb early with the bombers still inbound, losses to effective attacks continued to mount and though target 39 was destroyed outright and target 40 heavily damaged, the day belonged to the interceptors. Five player and 38 AI Allied bombers were confirmed kills during the night along with 38 escort fighters. Luftwaffe losses were relatively minor with 5 fighters being claimed by bomber gunners and 11 to the escort. The night belonged to the Luftwaffe. Luftwaffe have a commanding lead going into frame 5 - 515 to 365(score not official as losses to pilots and other causes needs to be tallied) NOTES: 1. Buff tuff seems about right. Lots of passes to get a player bomber with their AI drone going down early. 5 out of 16 player bombers shotdown with many losing their drones. Luftwaffe were spending lots of energy on the escort so losses could have been higher. 2. AI routines worked well. At least the B24s did, some issues still with the B17s. Thanks to noflyz for an excellent B24 routine. Final frame we will go for broke, 3 groups of kick-ass B24s all targeted at different industry targets. Luftwaffe will need to be on them early. 3. Some minor tinkering during these last S3s to see if the AI a/c stuff works in our environment. I appreciate the patience while these critters have been tested. We figured out the GVs, we figured out the ships and now we are figuring out the a/c. Good luck in the final frame. |
