S3 Series

AE's are a vry little squad .. we are all the time trying new tactics...nibbling away..at the edges..hit and run trying to isolate several cons out of a group.always lookin for a edge to out # and feed upon the few. we just cannot ever go heads ups.. unfortunally, it seems we always end up as food for the bigger squads

ever frame we improve
every scenerio we're more confident

The plane match up was ok if you had enough time to get the P-40 to 15k+. I believe the real issue was the ability of the IJN fighters to essentially cap allied fields for the entire frame. As a result we would have one go with the IJN before we were forced to RTB for fuel and then the IJN just milled over the fields for hours. Dobs and I discussed trying to get the squad out west over the water and we decided it was either that or log at T+30 (which isn't why we play S3s). So we opted to ran west while the IJN ran us down and the entire squad was lost for 1 IJN loss. After that we spend a lot of time in tower watching the IJN fly circles over the fields over the next several frames. So it seems that it wasn't really the plane match up necessarily but it was the ability for the IJN to stay on station in significant numbers for eternity that ultimately made the frame less fun for some.
