It is also terrain specific. More going on in a terrain less effective the high ROF guns.
The original designers were no dummies. They did not model every round like we do now. Maybe there was a reason? Also since each round is the size of a basketball shouldnt that basketball shape area include more than one round? Maybe there was a reason that the original designers already figured out?

Corrected the map with S58 Allied and open. The FEBA will probably switch to Germany now and is indicated on the map. Updated the final score with BDA and pilot losses for Frame 4. Adjusted the summary to reflect this and my amnesia.
