BUT...due to that the aircraft currently "stick" to the deck on launch. The wheel chirp on launch is a function of the aircraft launching in the air just above the deck, then the aircraft being located by the system and then "dropped" on the deck. In the past, operating the CVs at speed to create "air across the deck" typically results in aircraft which happen to spawn a few feet aft of others falling into the sea off of the fan tail on launch.

Carriers currently have rather "short" range icons and do not generate a CV number. That being the case, it is impossible to identify the difference between CVs. IF returning to the proper ship is among the rules to avoid "teleporting" between fields (ships) that has to be improved.

Happy trails...

Jabo,
Currently the Green CV cruises about 4.5 grids east of the IJ Islands. That's about a 20 minute
inbound flight from the CV to check targets. Any chance you can relocate the Green CV routine
around 3 grids closer?

(I used to do stuff like that)

I can adjust the CVs when back in town. This was just a quick setup to check out the terrain. You can also launch from the US base if no CVs present. This event is all IJN vs USN.

F6F5, SBD and TBD vs A6M5a and Val(from seaplane bases)

Several CVs static near Truk now for testing. One moving grp that will have to be reloaded time to time.
Green field with airstart on one of the outer atoll islands for testing.

Just ships. SBD and TBD pilots get a better bufftuff than MA and two AI wingmen.
