<S> MuskieZZ. I can tell you how our last stand unfolded on my side. A few of us remaining red guys were sent to F24 where you guys were working over our fields. We engaged you, Dew, and Farout (don't know how many of ya). Was a pretty good fight for a while. I think you pinged me as I was shooting at Mt. Dew, who was on Juice's 6. Many more hellcats (475th?) started showing up and we started going down. Think Wilz and I were the last two. Wilz ditched and I tried to skid my Zeke into F13 with several of you guys in pursuit. I exploded when I belly landed on the runway. Probably from damage you inflicted earlier. I think u can see my fireball in one of Dobs' videos. He was pretty close. I only have the acmcam.
Anyway, was a fun fight. Was a tough assignment when you were Red this series. But we all got to share in the fun.

Right now I have 8 kills listed in the S6, 6 from Buff otto (they don't count), 1 kill of a Mossie bomber (with no guns) and one maneuver kill when we were flying jets, since we weren't allowed to shoot people I just flew by a field and I think someone did something stupid. This was my 1st credited kill!
It was a fun fight. I was way up north straffing AI ships all by myself by F4. Thought I saw a zero (turns out it wasn't) so I headed straight south to try and find the rest of the NS who were looking for ships. Houndog came up to help me out. As soon as he flew over me I saw the 3 of you guys coming straight at me. not knowing what to do (as usual) I continued south and picked up 2 of you on my tail. Houndog zoomed down to clear me, which he did, but then you guys were all over him. I turned back to clear him. Took some half ass shots at D10 but managed to clear him. wouldn't you know it, I picked up 2 of you guys on my six again!
By this time, far and dew manged to come up north and get into the fray. Dew cleared me so I broke east to get clear, and then he went to clear far. As he was clearing Far I circled back (since I was suppose to be Dew's wing man, I told him that was a bad idea) but he had 2 on his tail, you and someone (Juice maybe). Your wingman must not have seen me (with the AE or 475th overhead) and I came in from your 8oclock and at D7 (thats where my convergence is set) started hosing away right after you oiled Dew. You broke and then I saw the other group of F6F's engage. Couple min. latter got the kill message.
I can honestly say that was the 1st dog fight I have ever really been in. Usually I see tracers going by and have things explode.
