Jabo has a good write up already on the board already.
With nothing else much to say, so I'll put in a new pitch for the flight testing sight. Testing these planes long ago was a tedious task. In 2007 I wrote a program that when combined with dotfiles could run most of the testing by itself and I posted the results. After version changes and a move to Win7, none of my testing worked. But, due to a dotfile command I recently discovered, I am now able to test by dotfile only for speed (including WEP), acceleration, and climb. All and all the process is the same, so the results are comparable in most cases and I'll be keeping the old data for that purpose. As new planes are changed, I can just rerun the test and post the results. I'm going to make sure I get planes tested before they show up in an S3. I have also done dive testing in the past, but it's a manual test, unless someone can tell me a way for dotfiles to detect when the plane starts to overspeed. The other very manual test is turn testing, but I have been unsatisfied with the results. They can vary by just the mood I am in.
