Salute!
I normally drive up to the training field here at Eglin on the anniversary and sip a mini of cognac as I salute toward the west.
So yesterday was the day that the Raiders made history so long ago ( Gums wasn't even born for another year, but Pd was on the ramp already, heh heh). Couldn't get there yesterday or even today due to severe WX.
I have other pics, but poorly filed on my puters. The runway one is my favorite. But I got this one the year we got the plaque put up on the country road.
