Axis turned it around in Frame 2 coming out with a coordinated attack on the Greek lines in the West while holding north of the Monastir Gap. The majority of Luftwaffe fighters were again Bf110s and though out-matched by the RAF hurricanes in the air they later used their excellent bomb and weapons loadouts to attack several fortified positions along the mountain tops and a British armoured column in the NE.
The main initial Axis attack was on the crucial SAF at F86 and though it did take their Do17s two sorties to close it, the loss of such an important western field crippled RAF operations later in the frame when only the RCAF remained to hold the line against continued Axis pressure on the fortified hilltops.
All was not lost to the Allied cause and RAF hurricanes proved very active and deadly in the north all along the old Yugoslav border. They allowed RAF Blenheims to get in and hit several fields as well as helping to bomb and strafe down two enemy fields.

Axis closed 5 fields including a SAF while the Allies only closed 2 in response. This allowed the Axis to move the front line down toward central Greece 15 locations.

The Allies did continue to dominate the air war shooting down 33 e/a for the loss of 17. But it was the effective ground attacks that would win the frame for the Axis as they outscored the Allies 68.8 to 41.7. This helped close the points gap but the Allies still lead going into Frame 3 - 115 to 100.

Sorry for the delay on this frame summary. Frame 3 was flown this Sunday and I will get a summary up quicker this time.
