Relatively good turnout with some new faces. Hope to see more pilots returning in future frames. Admittedly side balancing was a bit off. Mixed use of Discord and TS made it difficult to correct.

Axis leapt off to a quick start. Allies were slightly hampered by an overly keen C-47 pilot burning out his engines after leaving them set to emergency power.

Allies captured 5 airfields and the Axis 6 before the fight started to center over Axis controlled F80. Axis fighters had good success, although the Allies did eventually close the field. C-47s tried to fight their way in, but only 12 troops made it to the tower. An enterprising army office managed to drive a truck full of troops to F80 from the Artillery position at F70. 18 troops total made it to F80, but not enough to capture the field.

Allied
9 pilots, 60 sorties
RCAF: muzz--, yukone
4th: WLDBIL, jedijc
23rd: -split-, slpsht, grumpy-
hardad and kingat
P-400: 9 sorties, 1 Fw 190A-4, 1 BF 109G2 shot down, 5 aircraft lost
P-38F: 22 sorties, 1 Fw 190A-4, 4 Bf 109G2 shot down, 6 aircraft lost
C-47: 27 sorties, 5 airfields and 3 other field captured, 5 aircraft lost
Opel Truck; 1 sortie, 1 lost in the desert

Axis
6 pilots, 37 sorties
+VNSPL
352nd: redsgt, vokker, =wilz=, osker-
Knights: okdoc-
Bf 109G2: 15 sorties, 2 P-400, 3 P-38F, 3 C-47 and one truck destroyed. 5 aircraft lost
Fw 190A-4: 10 sorties, 1 P-400, 1 P-38F and 3 C-47 shot down, 3 aircraft lost.
Ju-52: 12 sorties, 6 airfields and 3 other fields captured, no losses.

Rule Violations:
Three axis pilots re-upped in an aircraft type they had already lost. Two of these pilots lost the same aircraft type multiple times.
In the next frame that these pilots participate they must fly their Staffel hacks, the Bf 109E-1, until it is lost. Subsequently they may fly one life in either the Bf 109G2 or the Fw 190A-4, but NOT both.

Frame 1 Scoring
Axis scores 11 points for Allied fighter losses and 10 pts for C-47 losses, for a total of 21 points. .
Allied scores 8 points for Axis fighter losses.

Frame 2 Set-up.
Auto capture resulted in the following:
F68 and F69 are now green
F32, F33, F36, F37, F38, F66, F67, F71 and F74 are now gold.

Notwithstanding a conversation I had on TS at the end of the frame, the fol fields are still neutral at the start of frame 2:
Posts F13, F31, F34, F75, Ports 95 and 96, and Airfield F5. The neutral F5 blocked autocapture of 31, 75, 95 and 96.

Map below depicts field status at start of frame 2. All fields are open. A captured in frame 1 have all aircraft types available.

Muzz Sir,

Please check your logs. You show no P38 kills by the 109G2. I'm only flew the 109 & sure I got a couple (2/3) P38s in the 1st frame.

Think Okdoc may have had a couple P38 kills in the 109 also.

Regards,

Oskar (Osker-)

Oskar,
Thanks for the catch. Corrected above in red. I had forgotten to include the P-38 kills in the the Bf 109 summary. However, I did include those losses in the P-38 summary, so no change to the score.
