Been looking for a while to replace my CH Combatstick (which I got used at the 2001 Dayton con)
I've tried an X-52 which I liked somewhat.. but the age and technology have been producing spikes in movement etc.
I was thinking I might get a new CH product, because of quality. Virpil was way too high priced... Warthog very pricy these days ....

Even though it came from China the company was super efficient and got thing shipped right away. DHL shipping brought it to my house in 4 days. they predicted 3/25/2022 but it came on the 21st
quality is very good.
Plastic is not quite as robust as my 20 year old CH stick but it is not cheap. you can investigate all the options for buttons and hats and 5-ways.. they give you many extras to make it how you want it.
it comes in several pieces as it is modular. you can get different handles to go on the same base. many mounting options, I just have the standard metal plate with rubber bottoms.
the palm rest comes with a small section on it.. they include a larger one for small hands or you can remove the one that came with it. I have beastly hands so I removed it and am happy with the plain rest.
the twist action (I dont use) also slightly raises the handle as you twist making you very aware of when it's happening.
the action is super smooth due to the magnetic sensor technology.
I've only had it a few days but I am very happy with it. now I have no excuse but my lack of piloting skills.
if you are looking for a new joystick, it's definitely worth checking out.
