Frame 1- ROUEN
Axis and Allies were really feeling each other out this frame. A fair amount of dogfighting, but relatively low losses for each side.

Allies
14 unique pilots, 35 sorties (22 in SpitIX, 11 in B-17F)
Axis
7 unique pilots, 20 sorties (10 in Fw190, 10 in Bf109F)

Bf109F shot down 2 Spit IXs, while the Fw190s scored 1 Spit IX and 2 B-17F AI wingmen
Spit IXs shot down 2 Fw190s, and the Buffs shot down 1 Fw190 as well

Allies failed to destroy all required targets at Rouen. Frame scored as an Axis victory.

Frame 2 - ABBEVILLE
Allies conducted a bit more pre-frame planning, and it showed in the bomber effectiveness, however the Axis pressed hard their attacks.

Allies
16 unique pilots, 38 sorties (30 in SpitIX, 8 in B-17F). Allies started frame with 4 Buff pilots, but Wild Bill, still recovering from surgery, had to quit early.

Axis
7 unique pilots, 290 sorties (17 in FW190 and 12 in Bf109F)

Bf109F shot down 2 Spit IXs, while the FWs scored 6 Spit IX, 1 B-17F and 7 AI wingmen.
Spit IXs shot down 1 Bf109F and 2 Fw190s while Buff gunners scored 2 Bf109F and 3 FW190s shot down.

Notwithstanding significant losses, Allies were able to close the Abbeville airfield (F111). Frame scored an Allied victory.

FRAME 3 - DUNKIRK PORT
With a narrow window of opportunity for the LW to attack, the Allied buffs had a relatively easy go of things this frame. This will not be the case for frames 4 and 5.
Anecdotally, Allied buffs reported destroying more than 60% of the required targets.
Unfortunately, for some inexplicable reason the log for this frame was empty, consisting only of the start and stop times.
With no way to confirm allied claims, I am forced to score the frame as a draw.

Screen shot or it didn't happen? ;-D

OK, I will re-vise my decision to an Allied victory, unless the Axis wishes to challenge.
