S3 Series

Someone said it was posted somewhere else now. Not sure where. Or maybe they are not out yet.

Phenix should post it soon on this forum hopefully.

We should probably fly the fifth frame first. It will make it easier to score.

Frame 5 hasn't been flown yet.
Phenix's site will provide the raw kills/items destroyed once he gets a chance to process the log. I assume he has a RL that is keeping him occupied
The S3 janitors (Good God, I'm one of them now, or a least a junior one) will filter that data and apply the scoring values posted on the S3 Scoring summary

As of 0900 EDT, 3 July 2020, the frame 1 and frame 4 scores have not been posted. I'm actively reviewing the logs and outputs of the S6 to provide scoring results to my S3 masters.

The Axis didn't win frame 4, they captured the last of the objectives was captured 2 minutes after the time limit.

Two minutes? Not quite. Field 46 turned 10 seconds after time expired because the troops were dropped before time expired. In fact, troops were dropped prior to the field closing.

I know. I dropped them.

Frame 4 win/loss has not yet been validated, although I am working on it. The Janitors (on both sides of the battle) are aware of the concerns and have reached a consensus. For this series the dropping/deploying of troops will be treated the same as dropping ordinance or launching torpedoes (or strafing for that matter). IAW the rules posted on the S3 site, if weapon hits do not occur before T+160 they do not count. In the log, the capture of Ville-base 46, St-Vith, occurred after T+160 and therefore does not count toward victory determination.

The issue of troops deployed, but not yet arrived will be reviewed again prior to the next series to ensure the rules are clear to all.
