Wolf, the exe file dictates the default FL file to use.
Best bet is to hop into S3 arena, then hop out to free flight mode. You keep all the S3 arena settings that way.

Thanks, =dobs=, what you suggest is the method I happen to have used since there was light. As mentioned, however, "sometimes" the DAMAGE MODEL in use in Free Flight varied from the S3 Arena. Going into the S3 Arena first then going to Free Flight transferred "most" of the settings, but not all. Why is not my department.
